Foodbank

There’s a staggering need for this around the Black Country, with Foodbank starting in 2006 and now helping over 12,000 people (a year?) in desperate need of food. This is genuine, Christ-focussed help for those at a difficult time of their life, when there is no State support, as they look into longer term solutions. We have the opportunity to meet their need.

There is a voucher system to manage the support across the whole borough, but the Rock Centre is the first town centre outlet.

To date we have helped people of all ages, from a two-week-old baby to a 94 year old – people being touched by God?s love just when they need it.
